Alison Pill

Pill began her career at the age of 16 in Canada But it wasn't until at least a decade later when she appeared for the first time on the American film market. The most notable of these appearances was an episode of the Canadian show Traders that starred Bruce Gray. Pill got an appearance on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation featuring Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey in "Would If, Maybe, But Shoulda" co-written with Naren Shankar and featuring Michael Ensign and Michael G. Hagerty. Pill's work in Picard was later followed by a prominent support role as "Katie" in Devs. The series, produced by FX Productions on Hulu and operated by the digital VFX firm Double Negative, featured her for all of the episodes. Similarity to Picard did not stop there. It was revealed in this same year, principal theme of the show was around the ability to keep consciousness inside an artificial creation.
